At KITTS, learning is an interactive process, involving many prominent personalities from the travel and tourism industry.
The students imbibe knowledge in a variety of ways including invited talks by the echelons from the industry who visit the campus.
Exposing the students to the hands own field work, travel industry environment, state-of-the-art science and technology adapted in organizations and industrial practices provide ways to bridge classroom theories with actual industrial experiences at the cognitive level of the students. The visits and lectures by the mentors and guest faculty broaden the mental orientation of the students and also give the true picture of the industry realities and expectations

Sri. E. M. Najeeb is the founder Chairman and Managing Director - Airtravel Enterprises India Limited, a leading travel company established in 1976 with offices at 17 locations across India including metros like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Cochin as well as its network offices in different parts of the world. The company has its overseas office in Abu Dhabi. Government of India approved and fully accredited Travel Company established in India.
He is also the chairman of Great India Tour Company Pvt. Ltd., the winner of the ‘Best Tour Operator Award’ of the Government of Kerala continuously for four years. He is also the winner of the Galileo Express Award for the Best Regional Tour Operator, for the years 2006 & 2008.
He is a Graduate in English Literature from Kerala University and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism from Bhavans Institute and a MBA from the New Port University, USA. |
Jose Dominic |
Sri. Jose Dominic is a Chartered Accountant by qualification and prior to joining CGH Earth in 1978, worked with M/s. A.F. Ferguson & Co., Chartered Accountants, Mumbai. He is the Managing Director and CEO of CGH Earth (formerly Casino Group of Hotels). The group is known for pioneering new approaches in resort development for which he has received a Special Commendation Award from Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India. He has served on several National and State advisory panels on tourism of the Government and industry bodies, member - Expert panel on Tourism of ASSOCHAM and CII. He has served as Hon. Secretary of FHRAI and Founder President of Kerala Travel Mart. He is the past President of TiE – Kerala Chapter and was the President of the Cochin Chamber of Commerce. He is the Chairman of CII, Kerala region and also a member of National Tourism Advisory Council.

Sri. K. C. Chandrahasan is Managing Director, Kerala Travels Interserve. He became the Managing Director of Kerala Travels in 1976. The company started utilizing the possibilities of IT from its early days. In 1997, it formed the network of travel agents in India and became Kerala Travels Interserve. And in 1999, it became a public limited company. The Interserve network then expanded to include similar representations in 40 countries. Kerala Travels Interserve was the first travel house in South India to win the National Award for Excellence in tourism in 1999.
